Fly Fishing and Stream Entymology

Bill Leder, Copper Country Chapter, Trout Unlimited, and Bob Wild, Porkies Interpreter will introduce students to the basics of fly fishing, fly tying and river entomology. This family-friendly event for beginners is part of the “Experience the Keweenaw” weekend and is offered by the Friends of the Porkies Folk School. Kids, bring your parents for a day of fun and fishing. CCCTU will provide all fly fishing equipment or students may bring their own. Bring a sack lunch, wear boots for walking in the river, and dress for outdoor activity. A recreational passport is required for all vehicles entering the park.
