Annual memberships start January 1 of each year and end December 31 of the same year. First-time memberships submitted after June 1 will be granted membership through December 31 of the following year.
Membership includes:
• Subscription to the Quill, the Friends’ newsletter, featuring Park news, weather data, history, events, and more, as well as the Park Visitor, the annual park paper.
• A collective voice with other Park users to express concerns and ideas to key State Park policy makers.
• Invitation to the annual membership meeting and Park improvement projects.
The Friends of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your contribution to the Friends is tax-deductible.
Membership donations are processed through PayPal, but you do not need to have a PayPal account in order to pay.

Donors’ Club:
Through the Donors’ Club we are able to recognize financial contributions from our members and others who are able to gift our organization to support our programs and projects. Donor’s Club contributions are tax deductible and are not used towards membership fees. The Donors’ Club is listed in our annual print edition of our newsletter (Quill) which is mailed to all members late each fall. The following categories of giving are suggested donation levels:
