Beginning Broom Making

Clean up dust and crumbs using a whisk broom that you make using traditional broomcorn. Instructor Sandy Lindblom will guide you through the process as you make a broom from scratch. You may use your broom, or you may decide to display it as a work of art.

Directions: Follow M-107 west from Silver City to Union Bay Campground (turn right), take first gravel road to right – you are there! We are in the old carpenter’s shop, the first building on your right.
