“Cathedral Window” Potholders, a Sew Cranky Project

October 22 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm EDT

$30
potholders

Guided by instructor Ginger Alberti (a.k.a. Sew Cranky), make two potholders with cathedral window designs. You will be sewing on an antique hand crank sewing machine. These quilting techniques (patterns) can be used to create many beautiful larger projects, but potholders are quite “doable,” and give you a chance to investigate the possibilities of quilting!

Hand crank sewing machines are so easy to use that they make our projects great for beginners too!

Children age 8 or younger need an adult companion.

We supply all materials and supplies including a selection of “kits” with pre-cut 100% cotton fabrics to make two coordinated approx. 8 inch padded squares, one with the “flower” and one with the “window” motif. These can be used as potholders, trivets, or sewn on other items and used as pockets.

A minimum of 2 students need to be registered by TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18 in order to hold the class. Maximum of 6 students.  To register for this class, click “Sign Up Online” below or call 906-884-7663. For information about refunds, click on the Refund Policy link.
