Create a Hearth Broom with Sandy Lindblom

Using driftwood, broomcorn, and your choice of many colors of reed and nylon string, create a hearth broom that is uniquely yours. Your broom will be a usable work of art. Sandy will provide all materials.

Please bring a snack or lunch.

Directions: From the east: Follow Engineers Memorial Highway 107 west from Silver City. Turn right on the Union Bay Campground road, take first gravel road to right – you are there! We are in the old carpenter’s shop, the first building on your right.

From the west: At the intersection of South Boundary Road and CR 107, turn left. Turn right on the Union Bay Campground road, take first gravel road to right – you are there! We are in the old carpenter’s shop, the first building on your right.
