June 11 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm EDT$40
After a walk down a forested path in the Porcupine Mountains, you may want to capture your own woodsy mushroom scene. Instructor Laura Marquardt will guide your creation of several varieties of mushrooms and lichens using velvet, cotton fabrics, wool and dried moss. Mount your creation on a small piece of driftwood or a tree branch.
Mushroom identification reference books will be available to aid in your creation. You are encouraged to bring your own mushroom pictures and mounting piece of wood. Extra driftwood will be available. Bring a lunch.
