Build a chest out of six pine boards and install hinges using hand and power tools. This chest makes an attractive storage place for linens, blankets, toys, or any other items that you want to store neatly away. You will stain or paint your chest at home.
The finished chests will be 32″ long, 20″ high, and 14.5″ deep, with the lid closed.
All tools will be provided. You may want to bring: goggles, a tape measure, 2 to 4 –24 “ clamps, a shop knife, a small hand or power drill, sandpaper (80 – 220 grit), a hand saw, a chisel (1/2” or ¾”), or a hammer.
Adult students are welcome. Please bring a lunch. See Session 1 for cost.
